I’m Lauren - a kind, genuine, fun, young(ish!) Celebrant - with the added bonus of a wicked sense of humour.
Originally hailing from Dalby, Queensland, I have strong ties to the Western Downs area, even though now residing on a beautiful property in the wine region of the South Burnett.
The simple things in life bring me the most pleasure – family, friends, vintage homewares, sunny Spring days, cosy Winter fires….and of course a good bottle of wine!
You’ll often find me flitting about the countryside for weddings (equally between the South Burnett and Western Downs), and quite often outside those areas too.
Growing up on stage, whether in musicals or public speaking, I have no trouble engaging your guests from start to finish. My fully customised ceremonies offer a skilled balance between fun, heartfelt and humorous, ensuring my couples and their guests are going to feel the gamut of emotions (which will be, in turn, captured by your amazing photographer!)
Hearing your love stories and ideas for your ceremony, gets my creative juices flowing. I’ll have loads of suggestions myself to add to our discussions, resulting in a ceremony of the highest standard.
On your big day, you’ll find me highly excitable and ready to make your ceremony one of the best (and most talked about!) parts of your day. Boring ceremonies are not my style! If outdated traditions don’t hold any meaning to you, then ditch them! We’ll find some cool, new replacements to suit your style (while still including all the legal stuff to make your marriage legit).
